Our Story
Start2Soar, LLC is the brainchild of our founding Director, Patrice Holt. After working in youth development for over 15 years, Patrice identified the need for youth serving programs to increase program quality for their members. Start2Soar, LLC believes that developing professional skills and increasing core knowledge and competencies of after school and youth development professionals is the most effective way to increase opportunity for youth. Start2Soar, LLC provides a variety of services (including youth program development, strategic planning, and conference workshops). We service youth serving organization from their start until they begin to soar.
Start2Soar, LLC envisions becoming the premier training agency for fostering community, developing a new generation of leaders and elevating youth services.

Founding Director
Patrice McBurse Holt
Patrice Holt considers herself a "construction worker" in the business of building up children and youth with strong foundations for their future. With 15 years of experience, Patrice uses youth development best practices, practical experience, and feedback from stakeholders to develop youth programs, increase program quality, help create fresh resources for new professionals.
She has a passion for coaching the new generation of youth development leaders that will advance the movement for more IMPACT on children and youth. The goal of Start2Soar, LLC is to create a network of adults that are dedicated to becoming champions of youth.Â
She was recently awarded the inaugural Leadership Award at the 2018 Georgia After-school and Youth Development Conference. Patrice also serves as a Technical Assistance Coach through the Georgia Statewide After-school Network.  Patrice lives in metro Atlanta with her husband, AJ.  She enjoys volunteering, reading novels, and traveling.
